SLIM – new project for students facing poverty in Maastricht

The initiative, started by Kim Thieme, a Health Sciences student at Maastricht University, is intended to make studying accessible for everyone. Including those on low incomes. This is really necessary because studying and poverty is not a good combination.

A location in the Pottenberg Mammoetflat would be ideal for this project which would already seem to be successful. But help is needed for this.

Anyone who needs help from SLIM or who would like to support the project financially or as a volunteer should consult Match Maastricht or Crowd UM. It is Kim’s main wish that the project encourages the bringing together Maastrichtenaren en the tertiary institutes located here.
