Milieudefensie Maastricht has requested permission to hold another city-wide survey in support of a milieuzone. The organisation is upset that such a zone still does not exist in #Maastricht despite agreements reached with Gemeente Maastricht in 2018.

According to the claim, the city’s pollution level is so alarming that a milieuzone is unavoidable. Last summer, Milieudefensie initiated its campaign and the accompanying petition was signed 1400 times. The organisation hopes to increase this total to a minimum of 5000 signatures in a new city-wide action.
