Maastricht launches own fragrance

Maastricht has already used umbrellas, shopping bags, and mugs emblazoned with logos and words in Mestreechs to promote the city, and now there we also have our very own fragrance. Maastricht's tourist office, Maastricht Marketing, (formerly known as the VVV), has launched the Ton Sur Ton fragrance, freely translated to: "tone on tone".

The scent is for everyone, and is exclusively available for purchase at the Bijenkorf and the Maastricht Visitor Centre. Containing notes of ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, limewood, peach and suede, the suede apparently symbolising the rich history in the field of leather processing in Maastricht.
